Marissa Sue Manring and Steven Edward Meyer were married Sept. 14, 2013, at Fresh Air Farm in Kansas City, Mo. The Honorable Joel Miller performed the outdoor ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Edward and Nancy Manring of Albany. The groom is the son of Scott and Cheryl Meyer of St. Joseph (formerly Liberty, Mo.).
Presented in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by maids of honor, Mackenzie Manring and Mairnee Manring, sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids included Katie Dias, cousin of the bride; Kaitlyn Bunch, cousin of the bride; Tiffany Timpson and Sarah Grant, both friends of the bride.
Ellie Dias, cousin of the bride, and Esther Taylor, friend of the bride. were flower girls.
Thomas Meyer, brother of the groom, served as the best man. Groomsmen were Timothy Ulrich, Tyler Smith, Jack Zelinko and Brad Nuckols, all friends of the groom. Serving as ushers were Sean Rossiter, friend of the groom and Vince Shisler, friend of the bride.
A reception including dinner and dancing was held at Fresh Air Farm in Kansas City, Mo.
The bride is employed by the Hamilton R-II School District. The groom is employed by Apex Systems Inc. in Overland Park, Kan.
The newlyweds reside in Gallatin, Mo.
